The Foundation presented this initiative to the Ministry of Education in 2015, and aimed to advocate for the right of children with double and multiple disabilities and deafblindness to free, quality public education. The Foundation presented a project to open the first 4 classrooms for deaf-blind children and those with dual and multiple disabilities in Egypt. In August 2016, the Foundation trained 14 Ministry of Education teachers on the first level of the specialized training course “Strategies for Teaching Deaf-Blind Children and People with Multiple Disabilities,” with 60 hours of theoretical training and 72 hours of practical training.
